Our Favorite Fall Staging Tip

Our team at ForSaleByOwner is so excited that fall’s finally arrived. Bright fall foliage, pumpkin carving, comfy sweaters (the return of fall television!) — we love it all.

As a seller, you may not share our love of the season, thinking that the closer it gets to winter, the fewer people are actively looking to purchase. We think having your home on the market during the “off-season” can be a great thing: There's less competition. It also puts you in the unique position to market your home as the perfect place to bunker down when it’s cold outside. With that in mind, we're sharing our favorite fall staging tip —enjoy!

Light Your Buyer’s Fire (with Fire)
Close your eyes and envision yourself in a cheerful, snug room. Do you see yourself relaxing in front of a bright fire? So do lots of buyers! Few things say “welcome home” like a crackling fire in the fireplace and some well-placed candles, so take advantage of the season and help buyers see themselves at home during your open house.

As a home seller one must consider the taste of the buyer and of course staging the house based in the season. This will really make the buyer so relax and comfortable and it feels like home for them. I have staged my place with the season here in charlotte homes to help buyers choose a real home.
